The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) has been established for 25 years as the world's leading university education platform in the global space of the Iberophony —the group of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries of all the continents—, with offices and delegations in nearly 40 countries, agreements of collaboration with dozens of universities in the Americas, Europe, and Africa, thousands of scholarship recipients in graduate, undergraduate, and doctoral studies worldwide, and a powerful cultural, scientific, and technological work.

FUNIBER represents a major player in the non-governmental sphere that promotes cooperation and the closest collaboration with numerous universities and civil society organizations, as well as with institutions, governments, and international agencies of the Ibero-American scope, as well as the entire Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, in addition to other regions and nations of the world. It has signed collaboration agreements with the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), the Ibero-American Social Security Organization(OISS), the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America (OIJ), the Royal Academy of History (RAH), the Fundación Carolina (Carolina Foundation), and various national, regional and local institutions, as well as entities and universities from all over the Iberophonic field.

FUNIBER is firmly committed to the development of all our societies through university education of excellence and the promotion of quality scientific and technical cooperation aimed at promoting the welfare of citizens. Likewise, the Iberoamerican University Foundation is constituted as a a pioneering and fundamental Organization in the social, educational, and institutional articulation of the intercontinental space of Iberian languages. To this end, it carries out intense institutional work in the best spirit of solidarity and collaboration.
