Innovation for sustainable work (Colombia, 2012)

The Centre for Industrial Technology Innovation of Colombia (CITIC) and the ENLACE Corporation developed an innovative and sustainable income model for extreme poverty or marginalized population and/or with the private enterprise’s co-responsibility.

The project’s goal is that 150 private companies willing to create new employments can benefit from it, and 300 people in an extreme poverty situation or marginalized. The project foresees providing businesses of the Santanderes and Cundinamarca areas, with machinery, equipment, specialized consultancy, certifications and records in order to orient these enterprises to these businesses in the employment generation.

The initiative counts on the support of the Iberoamerican University Foundation - Funiber and the Círculo de Obreros de San Pedro Claver and is waiting for funds awarded by the Departamento de Prosperidad Social - DPS and the European Union
