Reuse techniques of software assets and their application to requirements engineering assets (Lima, Peru, 2009)

The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) was the winner of the Contest of Scientific and Technological Events of the Science and Technology Program -FINCyT- with the Project called "Reuse techniques of software assets and their application to requirements engineering assets". This contest is funding workshops, seminars and other similar activities on the technological progress in the priority sectors for FINCyT, for which FUNIBER organized a conference on the topic of the software reuse as an organizational asset.

In the event they were also involved the experts Juan Bautista Llorens (professor at the Computer Science Department, Director of the Knowledge Reuse Group and Academic Director of the Instituto Universitario de Postgrado, at Charles III University of Madrid) and Omar Hurtado Jara (teacher at the University of Pira and at the Charles III University of Madrid).

In the event it was presented information and techniques studied and created from the latest research carried out by the exhibitors about reuse and requirements engineering and their application to the software engineering field.

The event was held on Thursday, 19th November, 2009, in the city of Lima, Peru.

The event was attended by 60 specialists, all of them professionals related to the academic and business areas, interested in information engineering and software engineering dedicated to the development and use of information technologies.

The event was sponsored by the FINCyT, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and under co-financing of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). FUNIBER contributed with its organizational capacity of events and its ability to convene experts and professionals on topics of high impact on R+D and IT fields.
