Traditional Chinese Phytotherapy

Program Presentation

Chinese Phytotherapy is based on the use of medicinal plants for the treatment of certain physiological disorders and the treatment of pathological states. These medicinal plants are used according to the same premises as TMC.

Phytotherapy takes into account Yin and Yang theory, the Five Elements Theory, the previous diagnosis and finally the application of the therapeutic principle based on differentiation of syndromes.

This Master is a blended learning program developed in collaboration with the European Foundation for TCM. The course is based on online resources developed under the supervision of TCM Universities of Beijing and Yunnan, and has workshops and classroom practice in approved institutions of different countries.

In the final part of the program, students can choose between carrying out a Final Project or taking the opportunity to travel to China or Cuba and undertake an internship at the hospital where TCM is applied.
