FUNIBER, through the Centre for Research and Industrial Technology of Cantabria(CITICAN) participates in the Recovery & Performance project.
The project’s mission is to reduce the injuries in sports. During the project’s development, a set of researches will be conducted about the early detection of injuries and interventions based on the scientific evidence to develop a tool that allows to be well-known around Spain.
Such product will allow the decrease in the number of injuries and the improvement in the training’s quality for a really wide population segment who are not receiving adequate care, such as amateur athletes, federated athletes and professionals competing in sports which do not have great economic resources.
The CITICAN, the technological center created by FUNIBER and the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) will facilitate the user of their facilities and equipment like TMG, Thermogrpahy and FMS as well as research support in the laboratory.
The project is included within the program “I+C=+C 2016 - PROYECTOS DE I+D” of the Sociedad para el Desarrollo Regional de Cantabria (SODERCAN).
