New Mexico City International Airport

FUNIBER, through the Centro de Innovación y Tranferecnia Tecnológica de Campeche (CITTECAM), is participating to the México City New International Airport Project.

The project’s goal is to develop and implement an Integral Management of Environmental Compliance (SIGCA, for its Spanish acronym) for the New Mexico City International Airport (NAICM, for its Spanish acronym).

The CITTECAM, the technological center created by FUNIBER and the International Iberoamerican University (UNINI Mexico) will provide technical assistance specialized in water, soil, air, noise, biodiverse contamination and waste management.

During the project’s development, specialized human capital will be available in the different processes of the environmental supervision planned for the New Mexico City International Airport Project, considering these areas: Pollution Prevention and Control, Water, Soil, Air, Noise, Biodiversity, and Waste Management, in every way and tasks execution modes and development of such project.

The project also counts with the collaboration of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) y el Centro de Investigación y Computación (CIC).

The project is to be developed from June 1, 2015 and December 15, 2017.
