Mission

FUNIBER designs its acting lines basedon the idea that knowledge must be accessible to everyone, not onlyto those who finish a College career. There are different groups ofaddressee for knowledge (it depends on the education level previouslyachieved) and different levels of depth in each one. Also, everyoneshould be able to choose the road that satisfies him or her in thepersonal process of learning and cultural and intellectual formation.This frames FUNIBER’s mission.

About the requirement that learningshould be during the whole life, our response consists in followingthe enrolled, keeping them informed with news about formation andactivities performed in or close to their specialty areas.

Vision

• To fulfill its mission, FUNIBER isdetermined to form critical and participative citizens for the Knowledge Society, from the personal development perspective and therespect and development of the national, regional, and local identity.

  
  

• In its essential activity, FUNIBER doesnot compete with universities, it works with them, complementingtheir actions in two ways:

  1. Diversifying the educating-learningprocess.
     
  2. Helping the universities to cover theirless developed areas.
     
  
  

• Form persons that are capable oflearning by themselves, answering to the demands of continuousformation.
  

• It’s not enough to acquire knowledge;one also has to learn how to apply it in real contexts. The proposedsolution is work in international virtual groups.

  
  

• Sponsor a formation that allows studentsto feel competent rather than competitive.

  
  

• This formation is acquired throughmorphology of “Network of Universities Networks” in which everyinstitution preserves its identity...
